How to Apply

Eligibility

To apply, applicants must meet three eligibility requirements:

1. be an enrolled member of the Tohono O’odham Nation
2. be 18 years of age or older
3. have a high school diploma/ GED certificate (elders, individuals 55 years or older are exempt from this requirement)

Complete an Application

Interested applicants may complete the TOL Teacher Certification Exam Application, which includes submitting:

• a copy of Valid I.D. (tribal or state)
• proof of tribal enrollment
• high school diploma/GED certificate (elders are exempt from this requirement)

Please allow up to three weeks to receive verification of eligibility. The Education Department will contact applicants to schedule a test date and time or to notify them of non-eligibility status.
