Services Provided
The DoIT provides enterprise level information & technology support to the Tohono O’odham Nation’s Executive and Legislative Branches. We support many professions such as: Education, Public Safety and Health. Technology continues to have a profound impact on our lives. A need exists for individuals to provide computing solutions and excellent customer service for our Nations users. The DoIT handles many tasks such as installing, upgrading and maintaining computer network systems, computer programming, survey of operating systems, network design and implementation, network systems management while developing and modifying software applications, database development and applications and other related subjects. As the technical needs of the Nation and Districts expand DoIT will strive to accommodate those needs in a prompt professional manner. Currently our department has a total of 25 allocated positions with 22 of these positions filled. 98% of our employees are members of the Tohono O’odham Nation with staffing of 50% female and 50% male.
