HEALTH TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Mission

To provide safe, efficient and culture sensitive non-emergency medical transportation for all members of the Tohono O’odham Nation in a timely manner. We are committed to serving with respect, compassion, and excellent customer service.

Services Provided

The Division of Health Transportation Service (HTS) serves non-emergency transportation services to medical/health appointments and dialysis treatment, including transportation to all tribal members residing on the reservation including in Mexico (O’odham in Mexico) regardless of insurance coverage. Services are limited to members that reside outside the boundaries of the Nation due to availability of vans and drivers.

HTS has five offices located in Sells, San Simon, Ṣawkuḍ Ke:k, San Xavier and San Lucy. The program has a total of sixty-eight (68) employees and forty-four (44) vehicles.
