Office of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman
One of the executive powers vested in the Office of the Chairman is to oversee the implementation of all laws, ordinances, resolutions and rules made by the Tohono O’odham Council.
We are also very pleased to present our Administrative Plan. Our constitution (or the Tohono O’odham Constitution) requires that an Administrative Plan be developed to guide the course of the Executive Branch administration and adopted by the Tohono O’odham Nation Council. Our plan was developed around the concepts of strategic planning in order to establish a road map for developing and implementing projects through specific strategies that are linked to our Vision and Core Values: Himdag, Health, Education, Economic Development, Housing and Natural Resources. Our plan is our commitment to improve not only what we do, but how it is done and delivered for the benefit of the Tohono O’odham Nation.
