The Department of Public Safety would like to inform the public that heavy traffic and potential delays are expected on State Route 86 from February 6-8, 2026, due to the upcoming Tohono O’odham Nation 87th Annual Rodeo & Fair. Commuters traveling through the area between mile markers 109 and 116 should follow posted traffic signs, reduce speed, and watch for pedestrians.
Please note: parking near the livestock utilities access road off State Route 86 is prohibited. Vehicles parked in this area will be towed.
