Mission
The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) coordinates the TON’s efforts in emergency preparedness, response to, recovery from, and mitigation of impacts from emergencies and disasters that effect people, property, and systems across the Whole Community.
We are committed to a Whole Community approach that builds, sustains, & improves the preparedness & resiliency of the Tohono O’odham Nation.
Services Provided
The Office of Emergency Management develops and maintains the Nation’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP); provides guidance and assistance with emergency preparedness planning; resource coordination; public education/outreach; recovery services coordination; coordination of emergency preparedness training.
