About Youth Council

Members of the youth council gain knowledge and experience serving within the Tohono O’odham Nation and networking with other Native American tribes both within the state of Arizona and across the country. They learn leadership, team building and communication skills by working with each other, and through partnerships with their Districts and District youth groups. O’odham Himdag is strongly incorporated in the Youth Council activities through learning language, games, dance, and song.
