Special Services Program

Mission
Special Services is a community- based program partnering with families who have children with disabilities and assisting them in cultivating their child’s future. To enhance the development of infants and toddlers with disabilities and to minimize their potential for developmental delays by providing supplemental Early Intervention services. To enhance the capacity of families to meet the special needs of their infants and toddlers with disabilities. To enhance the capacity of local agencies and service providers to identify, evaluate, and meet the needs of all children that reside on the Tohono O’odham Nation.
About Special Services
The Special Services Program is a community program for families with children birth to five who may have disabilities and developmental delays. Special Services provides support to families through educating and providing developmental services to their children to help them reach their full potential.
