It's that time of year again! Arizona's longest running all-Indian rodeo is back for its 72nd year. It all kicks off on February 4th and goes through February 7th at the Eugene P. Tashquinth Sr. Livestock Complex in Sells, Arizona.
The Tohono O'odham Nation Rodeo and Fair isn't just a proud event for O'odham, but for all Arizonans. The balance of history, competition, family-fun, and community and cultural celebration makes this a great event.
One of the best parts about the Rodeo and Fair is that the Tohono O'odham are able to share it with others. Putting this event on for so many years is a great achievement and it is rewarding to see people travel across the state each year to partake in our traditions and become familiar with our history.
This year at the Rodeo and Fair you and your family can explore the grounds and find traditional dancing and music, various rodeo competitions, carnival games, and food and beverages. And don't forget to see the parade on February 6th.
We're looking forward to seeing you this year at the Tohono O'odham Nation Rodeo and Fair. Welcome and enjoy!
