Welcome to the new Tohono O'odham Nation website!
The Tohono O'odham Nation, translated as "desert people," is a federally recognized Tribe located in southwestern Arizona. Our people have lived in this region since time immemorial and we have a rich history and culture that continues to thrive today.
Today, we are one of the largest tribes in the southwest and with a land base of 2.8 million acres, have the second largest Tribal land base in the U.S. Our enrollment is nearly 28,000 members, living both on and off the reservation.
As you look around our website, you will find additional information on our ancestry, our government, and highlights on issues important to our people. If you have any questions, please feel free to click on the contact link.
Welcome!
